Exploring ancient monuments such as the Ancient Agora, the Theater of Philippi, the Alistrati Cave, and Byzantine castles will create a sense of connection with the great civilizations of antiquity and the Middle Ages. Day 1 – Arrival and Welcome
- Arrival at Thessaloniki or Kavala Airport.
- Transfer to the port of Keramoti:
- From Thessaloniki Airport: approx. 3 hours.
- From Kavala Airport: approx. 15 minutes.
- Ferry crossing to the port of Thasos (approx. 40 minutes).
- Arrival on Thasos and transfer to Chryssi Ammoudia.
- Check-in at accommodation and time to relax.
- First meeting:
- Welcome by the tour guide.
- Presentation of the program for the upcoming days.
Day 2 – Exploring Thasos: Culture, History & Nature
- Ancient Agora & Aliki Quarries – Walk along the path of the famous Thasos marble, whose excavation reveals its long history.
- Archangel Michael Monastery – A monastery built in a unique location with breathtaking views and spiritual serenity.
- Theologos – A traditional mountain village with picturesque alleys and architecture reminiscent of the pirate era.
- Kostas Lovoulos’ Workshop – Visit the workshop of the renowned artist showcasing unique stone sculptures made from the famous white Thasos marble.
- Limenas – The island’s capital offers free time to enjoy fresh fish in traditional taverns or explore ancient excavations in the old harbor.
Day 3 – Jeep Safari: Adventure in Thasos’ Nature
- Maries Reservoir & Waterfalls – A short but fascinating tour to a small natural paradise with crystal-clear water and waterfalls surrounded by greenery.
- Marble Quarry – Visit one of Thasos’ famous quarries, where the white marble creates an impressive backdrop.
- Ipsario (1,206 m) – The highest mountain on the island with breathtaking panoramic views of Thasos’ endless natural beauty.

- Visit to Sotirelis Olive Mill – Insight into the production process of Thasos’ famous olive oil with tastings of local products.

- Panoramic hiking trail to Chryssi Ammoudia – A 12 km route (~4 hours hiking time) through diverse landscapes with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountains.
Day 5 – Farewell to Thasos & Excursion to Philippi (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
- Breakfast & check-out – Departure from accommodation and transfer to the port of Limenas.
- Ferry crossing to Keramoti – Enjoy a final view of Thasos.
- Guided tour of the archaeological site of Philippi & Krinides – Explore the ancient city, museum, and the impressive ancient theater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Baptistery of Lydia – Visit the sacred site where the first Christian woman in Europe was baptized by Apostle Paul.
- Choice of activity depending on the season and weather:
- Healing mud bath or hydrotherapy in the Krinides mud baths, a natural spa with therapeutic properties.
- Lunch at the mud baths or in the Pangeo forest village, enjoying traditional delicacies amidst nature.
Day 6 – Exploration and Hiking through the Angitis Gorge, Alistrati Cave, and the Ancient City of Amphipolis
- Bus tour through historic sites with stops at:
- Tower of Apollonia – A medieval fortress.
- Lion of Amphipolis – A symbolic marble monument of the ancient city of Amphipolis.
- Hike through the Angitis Gorge – A unique 7 km route (~4 hours) between Pangeo and the Menoikio Mountains with prehistoric rock carvings.
